Pre / Post Surgical Rehab

To have or not to have…Surgery

While we recognize that some injuries may require surgical intervention, that doesn't mean that every injury will. We are happy to sit down with you to discuss your options, set expectations, explain how surgery will work, and any other concerns you might have.

We do our best to address these things (and more) with patients considering surgical options. Expect an honest, informed dialogue, but a reasonable mind when approaching this topic. Commonly asked questions are:

  • How will my body be affected?
  • What about the surrounding joints or soft tissue?
  • How long will I be out?
  • What does recovery look like?
  • Will my physical health be improved?

Pre & Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

We have developed solid relationships with doctors in Denver and the surrounding areas to better cater to our patients that are in need of pre-op & post-op care. These surgeons & other specialists trust us with your care and getting you on the road to recovery. Our PT's are proficient in post-operative care, getting you back to your activities of daily living (ADL's), work, recreational hobbies and even competitive sports.

How long will my rehabilitative process take?

This question is a trap question. It depends on the injury, the type of surgery, and how well you keep up your "homework". While we cannot tell you exactly how long that process will take, we do know what works.

Our approach…

…a comprehensive treatment plan with a competent, experienced physical therapist makes for really good outcomes for our patients and clients.

Do you guys have a specialty?

Short answer: In a way. We find that specialties can create tunnel vision in how your treatment plan is shaped. Instead, we choose to focus on an all-inclusive approach. The muscles and soft-tissue surrounding the post-op region(s) are impacted as well as the injured area. Utilizing a more "complete" approach garners the results that will return you to your full life.
